You would think it was easy. Just put one leg in front of the other and repeat quickly.
I did that and ended up with some tendon issues in various parts of my leg. The best explanation I've seen so far was by a German on YouTube.
Current weight is 13 stones (182 pounds / 82.5 kg).

I think your problem was borne out in the beach footprint test at Portobello - no weight on the middle and rear of the foot cf my footprints.
Yeah well land on the ball of the foot but not just that.
All fairly Dr Oetker except increasing pace by lengthening stride - wears you out, Dr O. claims increase cadence by learning to contract hamstrings faster, it's all about hamstrings for Dr, O.
And that bloody Powercranks thing - 'the hamstring exerciser' that's why they claim it makes you run faster without actually having to do any running training.
